Versatile pianist, keyboardist, singer & accompanist


Damien has more than a decade worth of piano/keyboard experience to draw on from countless musical situations including: concerts, festivals, weddings, cabaret shows, theatre productions, choirs, piano bars, original jazz bands, working covers bands, soul and funk bands, blues and roots bands, world music bands, hip hop acts, as an accompanist, teacher, and rehearsal pianist - the list goes on..  To hear Damien play some jazz, follow this link to his YouTube Channel


Damien began singing professionally in 1999 having started Voice lessons at age 12 and singing in theatre productions and stage shows until he discovered Jazz in his early teens. From then he trained as a jazz vocalist, and also began discovering Blues, R'n'B and Gospel. To listen to a short Jazz Vocal Demo click here and choose first item.


He has been involved in choirs, as a director and performer and worked with Jazz Vocal Groups, Gospel Choirs, and performed in Contemporary Choirs. Most recently, he was performing with 'Invenio', the brainchild of Melbourne based singer and teacher Gian Slater.

Whether singing lead, or backing vocals - his four octave bass baritone voice is highly versatile.  Being an accomplished and professional pianist/keyboard player means he is available as a solo performer or he can provide a group in any combo.
